Goan Pork Sausage Chilly Fry


  • 500 gms goan sausage
  • 3 medium onion (red onions preferred)
  • 3 medium potatoes
  • Salt as required
  • Ketchup (optional to be added only if you feel it is spicy)
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • Salt as required


  • Cut sausages into small pieces and keep aside

  • Heat oil in a saucepan. Saute chopped onions till the color of the onion turns pink

  • Add sausages and without stirring it first let it cook for 5 minutes with a cover over the saucepan. Then remove the cover and stir the onions and sausages and cook for another 10 minutes

  • Add potatoes cut into hash brown size, stir the mix and cook the meat till potatoes are well done or as per your desired level. I cooked till the potatoes are slightly smashed.

Now your goan sausages are ready.
Enjoy with ladhi pav or rice.


  1. If you want you can also add green chillies, red chilly powder, garlic and ginger in your chilly fry. As these ingredients were already added in the sausages, I did not add them in the chilly fry.
