- 1 cup dried mung beans (yields 4 cup mung sprouts)
- 1 bowl
- 1 strainer (metal or plastic)
1. Rinse 1 cup dried mung beans and soak it in water for 24 hrs
2) Day 2: Drain the water and put the beans in a strainer. Ensure that you sprinkle water every 12 hours and turn the beans around in the strainer. This way the beans which are on top go below and the sprouts take place evenly otherwise the beans in the middle and below will sprout faster than the ones on top.
Day 3: The seeds are now sprouting. If you want small sprouts, this is the time to take it and cook it. Otherwise, sprinkle water and turn the beans around in the strainer.
Day 4: These the final products where all the beans are evenly sprouted. They are ready for cooking.
