When we initially arrived in this country, we had little to no knowledge about Canada except that we were fortunate to have a few families. They helped us transition through the first month and provided guidance while we were grappling with the initial challenges of settling down in a new country. In spite of speaking fluent English, once we arrived here, we had our own share of hurdles, just like every immigrant and the first one being: adjusting to the American accent. Next, we started learning the transit system, as it was an important element in moving around the city, job searching, shopping, etc. So we applaud the immigrants who have no family or friends to help them with the initial phase that every newcomer encounters of settling down in this beautiful country.
Now, after having spent over a decade in this new land, which we call our home, and have had our share of experiences, it is our turn to give back to the society what we have learnt from this awesome country. We would like to help those who want to know more about this great country. We, the four founding members of the Lobo Universe, come from different stages of life and have experience in various areas such as Banking, Accounts, Finance, HR, Insurance, IT, Marketing & Sales, Audit, Spiritual (Reiki Master), Yoga as well as Canadian education system (including Elementary, High School and professional courses). This knowledge and experience will help us to provide the best available information from different perspectives through a one-stop shop at no cost.
