
Ingredients:
- 2 kg Chicken leg (thigh and leg)
For marination:
- 1 tsp crushed ginger
- 1 tsp crushed garlic
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder (I used Kashmiri chilli powder)
- ¼ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp garam masala powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp dry oregano
- 1 tsp yogurt
- 2 tbsp oil
For coating: Step 1 (Optional
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp rice flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
For coating: Step 2
- 2 egg (beaten)
- 1 tbsp milk
For final coating: Step 3
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 3 cup plain cornflakes (crush it to crumbly pieces so that it sticks to the chicken)
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (can use panko breadcrumbs)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp oregano
Direction to marinate:
- Clean and wash the chicken. Keep in a strainer for an hour so that most of the liquid is drained out
- Mix all the ingredients under “For Marination” and gently apply to the chicken
- Keep it aside overnight for best results
Air Fryer Direction:
- Make all ingredients ready for Step 1 (optional), Step 2 and Step 3.
- Line the air fryer tray with parchment paper and gently grease it with any cooking oil
- Take the chicken, coat it with ingredients mentioned under Step 1 (optional), then dip in the egg mixture and coat it with ingredients mentioned in Step 3.
- Now gently lay the coated chicken on this tray and air fry for 370 degrees for around 45 minutes.
