After having tasted brandy, I would often wonder about the flavour of cognac vs brandy. One day, I happened to come across Hennessy Cognac in the duty free shop at Dubai and purchased it. The flavour was awesome and smoother than brandy and I added this to my list of favourites.
Later on one of my business trips, I was introduced to a cocktail infused with Grand Marnier with its golden amber colour and bourbon. I fell in love with this drink. Today, I was in a mood for experimenting and tried to mix Grand Marnier with Cognac and the result was outstanding.
Friends I present to you – Sunday Delight with the smooth silky flavour of cognac blended with a sweet citrusy flavour of Grand Marnier. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 1 shot Grand Marnier
- 1 shot cognac
- Ice as desired
- Lemon slice
Direction:
- Add Cognac, Grand Marnier and ice in a cocktail mixer and shake well.
- Serve chilled with lemon slice.
